Crime Report: DWI Arrest, Vehicle Scratched

Recent incident reports in Wantagh and Seaford from the Seventh Precinct.

The following information is taken directly from the Nassau County Police Department's Seventh Precinct incident reports. A criminal charge is only an accusation, and does not indicate a conviction.

  • A woman on Woodward Avenue in Wantagh reported to police on March 12 that someone used her credit cards to make unauthorized purchases.
  • A catalytic converter was stolen from a vehicle parked at the Seaford Long Island Rail Road Station on March 20.
  • A vehicle parked on Carrollton Avenue in Wantagh was discovered scratched on March 22.
  • On March 24, Edgar Giovanni Barbosa, 24, of Old Westbury, was arrested on the Seaford-Oyster Bay Expressway in Seaford and charged with driving while intoxicated.
