Crime Report: DWI Arrests, Car Damaged at Wantagh High School

Recent incident reports in Wantagh and Seaford from the 7th Precinct.

The following information was supplied by the Nassau County Police Department's Seventh Precinct. A criminal charge is only an accusation, and does not indicate a conviction.

  • On March 13, Ron Jacoby, 47, of Jericho was arrested on Sunrise Highway near Wantagh Avenue in Wantagh and charged with seventh-degree criminal possession of controlled substance, driving while intoxicated and one vehicle and traffic law violation.
  • A dent was reported discovered in a 200`1 gold Honda parked at on March 15.
  • On March 17, Marie C Doherty, 59, of Bay Shore was arrested on the Seaford-Oyster Bay Expressway near the Sunrise Highway exit in Seaford and charged with driving while alcohol impaired and thee vehicle and traffic law violations.
