Crime Report: Home Burglary in Wantagh

Recent incident reports in Wantagh and Seaford from the Seventh Precinct.

The following information is taken directly from the Nassau County Police Department's Seventh Precinct incident reports. A criminal charge is only an accusation, and does not indicate a conviction

  • On April 4, Jaqueline Gaipa, 35, of Wantagh was arrested at JC Penny on Sunrise Highway in Massapequa and charged with petit larceny.
  • On April 11, Gene Maloney, 42 of Forest Hills was on Route 135 in Seaford and charged with second and third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle as well as two vehicle and traffic law violations.
  • A home on Manchester Road in Wantagh was burglarized on April 12. Police said the rear door was damaged in an attempt to gain entry.
