Crime Report: Smearing Dog Feces, DWIs

Recent incident reports in Wantagh and Seaford from the 7th and 1st Precincts.

  • On Jan. 19 an attempted burglary occurred at a home on Lawrence Place in Wantagh. No items were removed.
  • Bingo proceeds were reported stolen from a home on 2900 Jerusalem Ave., Wantagh on Jan. 21. 
  • A woman on Jones Avenue in Wantagh reported to police on Jan. 20 that somebody smeared dog feces on the front door of her residence.
  • On Jan. 22 Jeanie Rzasa, 55 of Seaford was arrested at JC Penny at the  Sunrise Mall in Massapequa and charged with petit larceny.
  • On Jan.22, Steven Toth, 43 of East Northport was arrested on the corner of Jerusalem Avenue and Washington Avenue in Seaford and charged with driving while intoxicated.
  • On Jan. 23, Robert J Foglietta, 21 of Wantagh was arrested near the corner of Merrick Road and Bayview Avenue in Wantagh and charged with driving while intoxicated.

 The information is taken directly from the Nassau County Police Department's Seventh Precinct and First Precinct incident reports. None of the defendants have been convicted of a crime.
