Crime Report: Stolen Car, DWI

Recent incident reports in Wantagh and Seaford from the 7th and 8th Precinct.

The following arrest information was supplied by the Nassau County Police Department's and Eighth Precinct. A criminal charge is only an accusation, and does not indicate convictions.

  • A woman on Rosewood Lane in Wantagh reported to police on March 26 that her vehicle was taken from the front of her residence.
  • On March 29, Katherine A McNamara, 57 of Seaford was arrested at Wal-Mart in Massapequa and charged with petit larceny.
  • A woman on Gwenn Gate in Seaford reported to police on March 29 that a gold ring was taken from her home around two months ago. There were no signs of a forced entry.
  • On March 31, Teejay R Roginski, 32 of Seaford was arrested in the parking lot of the Sunrise Mall in Massapequa and charged with second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation, operating a motor vehicle with a suspended registration and five vehicle and traffic law violations.
  • A woman reported to police on March 31 that she dropped her wallet at the 7-Eleven on 3615 Merrick Rd., Seaford and when she returned to the store it was missing.
  • A woman reported to police that $50, tickets and assorted credit and debit cards were removed from her pocketbook at on April 2 at 1:30 a.m.
  • Sixty dollars and assorted credit and debit cards were reported stolen from a woman’s purse at in Wantagh on April 3 at 4:15 a.m.
  • On April 4, Christopher Quattrock, 30 of Selden was arrested on the corner of Washington Avenue and Waverly Avenue in Seaford and charged with driving while intoxicated, aggravated driving while intoxicated and two vehicle and traffic law violations.
