Crime Report: Stolen Dog Statue, Assault, DWIs

The following information was supplied by the Nassau County Police Department's Seventh Precinct. A criminal charge is only an accusation, and does not indicate convictions.

• On May 18, Kevin J Leimeister, 20 of Seaford was arrested on Walsall Street in Seaford and charged with third-degree assault.
• A man on Peconic Avenue in Seaford reported to police on May 18 that he saw an unknown white male around 6'1  in his backyard. When he asked the man what he was doing,  the subject fled the scene.
• On May 20, John Romano, 56 of Massapequa was arrested on Willoughby Avenue near Langen Drive in Seaford and charged with second-degree harassement and petit larceny.
• On May 22, Stephanie Hildner, 26 of Massapequa Park was arrested on Seamens Neck Road near Maple Streetin Seaford and charged with driving while intoxicated and two vehicle and traffic law violations.
• A dog statue was reported  stolen from the front porch of a home on Seaford Court in Wantagh between May 22 and 23.
• On May 23, Alan H Jacoby, 31 of Wantagh was arrested on Atlantic Avenue near Nelson Road in Wantagh and charged with driving while intoxicated and leaving the scene of an accident.
