Crime Report: Stolen Jewelry, Tires Removed
Recent incident reports in Wantagh and Seaford from the 7th and 1st Precincts.
The following arrest information was supplied by the Nassau County Police Department's Seventh Precinct and First Precinct. A criminal charge is only an accusation, and does not indicate convictions.
- Jewelry was reported removed from a jewelry box at a home on Whitehall Lane in Wantagh on April 16. There was no forced entry, according to police.
- On April 20 it was reported that three rolls of copper piping valued at $975 were stolen from a work site on Briard Street in Wantagh. The property was secured by a pad lock and metal chain, which was cut to gain access, police said.
- Tires and rims were reported stolen off a 1994 green Nissan parked on Merrick Road in Seaford between April 23 and 25.
