Crime Report: Stolen Tires from Mavis, Vandalism to Schools

Recent incident reports in Wantagh and Seaford from the 7th and 2nd Precinct.

 The following information was supplied by the Nassau County Police Department's  and Second Precinct. A criminal charge is only an accusation, and does not indicate convictions.

  • On May 29, Jesse Chicco, 24, of North Merrick was arrested on Wantagh Avenue near Railroad Avenue in Wantagh and charged with driving while intoxicated and two vehicle and traffic law violations.
  • The side sliding glass door of a home on Beechwood Place in Seaford was discovered broken on May 29.
  • A construction fence at in Seaford was reported damaged sometime between May 28-31.
  • A woman on Riverside Drive in Wantagh reported to police on June 2 than an unknown suspect cut the rope holding her boat to the dock and removed the row boat.
  • Chelsea Bryant, 19, of Lindenhurst was arrested on Tally Lane near Wantagh Avenue in Wantagh on June 3 and charged with third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and two vehicle and traffic law violations.
  • On June 3, police arrested Christopher C. Burke on Valley Road in Wantagh and charged him with driving while intoxicated.
  • Safraz Nabibaksh, 37, of Woodhaven was arrested at the Nassau County headquarters in Seaford on June 3 and charged with fourth-degree grand larceny and petit larceny.
  • On June 3, Riyaad Nabibaksh, 19, and Ajib Nabibaksh, 44, both of Richmond Hill , were arrested at on 3320 Sunrise Highway in Wantagh on and charged with fourth-degree grand larceny and petit larceny. Police said the arrestees were loading tires from a storage container into a white van.
  • Four teens from Wantagh and Seaford were arrested on June 4 and charged with third-degree criminal mischief after they were discovered spray painting the murals and sky lights at and .
  • A man on Temple Drive in Wantagh reported on June 4 that someone damaged his fence as if someone was trying to gain access to the property.
