Crimes Nearby Part I: Home Break-In, Stabbing

Recent criminal activity reported for Levittown and Massapequa.

The following information is taken directly from the Nassau County Police Department's incident reports. None of the defendants have been convicted of a crime.

Levittown

  • On July 2, a Vox DVD player, a Nikon camera and a lens from a vehicle were stolen on Coppersmith Road.
  • On July 3, a front tire were slashed on a car on Andover Lane.
  • On July 3, assorted jewelry was stolen from North Newbridge Road.
  • On July 7, the first floor window of a home on Hickory Lane was opened with no reported loss.
  • A Uniondale man was arrested on July 10 after he allegedly broke into a home on Elm Drive South and tried to enter another on Charles Lane. For more details, click here.

  • The side view mirror of 10 U.S. Postal Service vans parked at the U.S. Post Office on 1290 Hicksville Road in North Massapequa were discovered damaged on July 2.
  • The window of a vehicle parked at Lucille Roberts on Sunrise Highway was broken on July 6 with the trunk popped and a pocketbook removed.
