Crimes Nearby Part II: 'Project 21' Bust, Floating Dock Stolen

Recent criminal activity reported in Levittown and Massapequa.

The following information is taken directly from the Nassau County Police Department's incident reports. None of the defendants have been convicted of a crime.

Levittown

  • Cash was reported stolen on April 3 from China Wok on Gardiners Avenue. 
  • The front door glass of Hunan Dynasty on Hempstead Turnpike was broken on April 7 with no loss reported. 
  • Assorted jewelry was stolen on Loring Road on April 8. 
  • A Nassau County Police “Project 21” undercover operation in Levittown and Hicksville resulted in four people being cited for selling alcohol to a minor on April 10. For more details, click here

Massapequa

  • A man on East Shore Drive reported to police on April 3 that someone stole an 11' floating dock from his rear yard. 
  • On April 6, Scott Ferrara, 48, of Massapequa Park was arrested on Lindbergh Street and charged with three counts of second-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle and third-degree aggravated unlicensed operation of a motor vehicle.
  • Two tires were reported slashed on Harbor Lane in Massapequa Park on April 8.
