Crimes Nearby Part II: Robbery at ATM, Knife Used in Fight

Recent criminal activity reported in Levittown and Massapequa.

The following information is taken directly from the Nassau County Police Department's incident reports. None of the defendants have been convicted of a crime.

Levittown

  • A woman robbed a man at knifepoint while he was withdrawing cash at an ATM inside the Citibank on 3375 Hempstead Turnpike on April 21. For more details, click here.
Massapequa
  • A North Massapequa man was arrested on April 18 and charged with stealing prescription slips from a doctor and then trying to use them to get Xanax from two pharmacies. For more details, click here.
  • Three men were arrested in Brady Park on April 24 after they tried to swipe three cell phones. For more details, click here.
  • A man brandishing a steak knife and two other people were arrested on April 28 following an early morning fight on Frankel Road in Massapequa. For more details, click here
  • A bus driver from Massapequa Park, who was drunk at the wheel when he crashed into a Syosset home, pleaded guilty to charges and was sentenced Monday to one year in prison. For more details, click here
