Man Loses Control of Motorcycle, Crashes

The man was sent to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

In an effort to avoid an accident, a man was sent to the hospital after crashing his motorcycle at the intersection of Railroad Avenue and Wantagh Avenue on Sunday.

According to Michael Guerra, a witness to the accident, the rider was heading northbound on Wantagh Avenue when, "a woman crept up [at the stop sign] and it looked like he hit his back brakes in anticipation of her not stopping," he said.

Guerra then said that the bike fishtailed.
