One person was seriously injured in a two-car head-on crash on Ocean Parkway Tuesday night.
The crash, which happened around 8 p.m., took place just east of Wantagh Parkway. A helicopter had to be called in to transport one driver to Nassau University Medical Center (NUMC).
According to News 12, police do not know whether one of the drivers was going the wrong way or crossed over the median. No charges have been filed.
