The attempted adduction occurred at the corner of Wantagh Avenue and Poplar Street, according to Amanda Pedone, Intelligence Analyst for the Seaford-based Nassau County Police Department's Seventh Precinct. Specific details on who was the target of the attempted abduction were not provided.
Pedone said an investigation into the attempted abduction is ongoing.
