Three people were arrested Sunday evening at a sobriety checkpoint in Deer Park, police said.
The checkpoint, conducted by New York State Police and the Suffolk County Police Department, was setup at the Southern State Parkway ramp for Route 231–exit 39.
Michael Condron, 32, of Seaford, and Joseph Taliercio, 37, of Lindenhurst, were charged with DWI. Jason Parker, 25, of Central Islip, was charged with driving while impaired by drugs and criminal possession of marijuana.
There were also 44 traffic tickets issued for various traffic violations at the checkpoint, police said.
