Police Wage Tug of War Battle for Charity at Jones Beach

Event raised money for Wounded Warrior Project.

A spirited tug of war competition between the Nassau and Suffolk County police departments took place on the sands of in Wantagh on Friday evening.

Suffolk County took home the title in the police and sheriff department tug of war battles while Nassau won in the corrections officers’ competition. The fourth annual Nassau vs. Suffolk Tug of War Long Island Police Championship benefited the Wounded Warrior Project.
