Police: Wantagh Woman Burglarized Ex-Boyfriend's House

Victoria Vaccaro arrested and charged with removing more than $1,000 from home of her ex-boyfriend.

A Wantagh woman was arrested and charged Monday night with burglarizing her ex-boyfriend's house and leaving with more than $1,000.

According to Nassau County Seventh Squad detectives, on Saturday at 8 p.m., Victoria Vaccaro, 20, entered the residence of her former boyfriend on Twin Lane South in Wantagh. Police said Vaccaro, who did not have permission to enter the home, removed more than $1,000 and fled the scene. She was located on Park Lane in Wantagh on Monday at 6:15 p.m. and taken into police custody. 

Vaccaro was charged with second-degree burglary and will be arraigned at First District Court in Hempstead on Tuesday.
