Sandy Strikes Massapequa: Share Photos

Massapequa is already feeling the sting of a major storm and Patch cameras have been out capturing everything. We want to see your photos too.

It began to rain during the overnight hours, and by Monday morning, Massapequa was already seeing the effects of Hurricane Irene.

Streets have already been flooded, particularly south of Merrick Road. There have been downed wires and trees.

Patch cameras have been out on the streets capturing the scene.

We'd like to see your photos too. But please be careful. It's dangerous out there. Please email any photos and videos to local editor Edward Robinson at edward@patch.com.

I lived at the corner of Harbor Road and Stone Blvd in East Massapequa, two blocks from Clocks Blvd. Any news about the extent of the damage in that immediate area?
