The Seaford Fire Department is accepting donations that will be distributed to local residents impacted by the wrath of Superstorm Sandy.
Seaford Fire Department spokesman George Kern said they are seeking blankets, nonperishable food, diapers, jackets and anything else necessary to assist their neighbors struggling in the storm's aftermath. The Seaford Fire Department is working jointly on the donation drive with PTA groups in the Seaford School District.
Donated items for the relief effort can be dropped off at the Seaford Fire Department headquarters at 2170 Southard Ave.
