A 19-year-old Seaford woman was reported missing, according to a Silver Alert from the Nassau County Police Department.
Kaitlin Doughty was last seen at the intersection of Seaford Avenue and Waverly Avenue Wednesday at 1:45 p.m. She's described as white, 5-foot-2 and 140 pounds. She has brown hair and brown eyes, and she speaks English.
Doughty has special needs, and police said she requires medical attention.
The Silver Alert Program has been established in order to disseminate immediate information to local media, hospitals and other organizations when a senior citizen or other individuals suffering from Alzheimer’s disease, dementia or other cognitive disorders goes missing.
