State Police: Massapequa Man in Pot Bust in Wantagh

Cops say marijuana was found in car.

A Massapequa man was arrested in Wantagh after he admitted to having marijuana in his car, state police said.

A black Mazda, being driven by Bradley Bloeth, 20, was spotted by cops on the shoulder of the Wantagh Parkway south of Merrick Road in Wantagh at 9:35 p.m. Monday.

When officers checked to see what was going on, they found Bloeth, who lives in Massapequa, outside the vehicle. The officers also detected a strong marijuana odor, police said.

The trooper questioned  Bloeth who told him he had several bags of marijuana in the car. A drug sniffing dog searched the vehicle and six grams of pot were found, police said.

Bloeth and his passenger,  Anthony Saccomanno, 21, of Farmingdale were arrested and charged with unlawful possession of marijuana.
