Swastikas, Anti-Semitic Graffiti Found at Cedar Creek Park
The graffiti was found on the handball court and a picnic table.
Nassau County Police are investigating a number of anti-Semitic statements and swastikas that were found at Cedar Creek Park Saturday morning.
According to Nassau County detectives, a park employee discovered graffiti on the handball court and a picnic table on the east side of Cedar Creek Park. Police believe the graffiti was done between 9 p.m. Friday and Saturday at 10 a.m.
There were anti-Semitic statements along with a swastika and the number "54" written in black magic marker on the wall of the handball court, police said. In addition, there were the words "Hail Hitler" and eagle with a swastika and the number "54" in the middle drawn on a picnic table in the same area of the park.

Detectives are asking anyone with information about the above listed crime to contact Nassau County Crime Stoppers at 1-800-244-TIPS. All callers will remain anonymous.
