Maybe instead of parking at the fire house they could take their police breaks at the train station lots, just throwing an idea out there.

@ joe, agree

Is the neighborhood watch going to patrol the new red light district it helped create?
Patrick May 09, 2012 at 12:20 AM

Wow do you sit and watch the cops for 12 hours at the firehouse all day? Kewl maan. Get a life!
Sam C May 09, 2012 at 02:46 AM
@ ed, i really need a life...pehaps when i drive to the train station everyday for work or the 4 times per week i go to worlds gym, i always see a cop car idling in between the firehouse and the knights of columbus..
ed May 09, 2012 at 01:31 PM
@Sam Have fun on your commuter job........couldn't pass the police exam huh? Join the NYPD...212-RECRUIT
Sam C May 09, 2012 at 03:45 PM
ha ha ed....if you're in the nypd, you still have to 'commute' to work, i see officers on the train all the time... i have nothing but the utmost respect for the nypd and HAVE NASSAU COUNTY OFFICERS IN MY FAMILY, but i could have passed the nypd police exam when i was 8, be real seriously the point of the original comment was that if the train stations (seaford and wantagh) are having these issues, why not situate the cop cars in the actual train station parking lots instead of nearby (7 elevens, fire stations, etc). doesn't take a genius who passed the nypd exam to figure that out

Just stinks cause if all these kids had some place to hang out maybe there wouldn't be so much destruction, they get kicked out of parks and where do they go, they overcrowd the streets, shopping centers and see what trouble they can get into.....Let's see if we can open something for these kids
ed May 09, 2012 at 11:09 PM
The Fire station on Park in wantagh is at the train station so basically you failed the police exam.
Sam C May 10, 2012 at 12:29 AM
you're absolutely right ed, the cop that parks everyday in between the firehouse and veterans club is absolutely in the lirr parking lot and has a perfect sight line through the firehouse and into the lot....not. how about situating the car just say 300-400 yards west in the ACTUAL lot. i guess we know where you take your naps
ed May 11, 2012 at 01:19 PM
@Sam...unfortunately he doesn't get to nap and drink beer for 2 hours on the train each day like you do........you sound bitter. How pathetic.....
