A two-car accident in Seaford caused a massive traffic jam on eastbound Merrick Road Friday afternoon.

The accident occurred around 3:15 p.m. on the eastbound Merrick Road just west of Seamans Neck Road. Police from the Nassau County and the responded to the scene.

No further details on the accident were available.
