Wantagh-Levittown Ambulance Corps Chief Christopher Natoli Passes Away

The WLAC Chief was also a paramedic for the New York City Fire Department.

The Wantagh-Levittown Volunteer Ambulance Corps and the Nassau Fire Department deeply regrets to announce the passing of Christopher Natoli.

Chief Natoli, 32, was a 20-year member of Wantagh-Levittown VAC. He was also a FDNY Paramedic.

A former graduate, Chief Natoli moved thru the ranks at Wantagh-Levittown VAC and served his community as a cadet, general member, line officer and chief.  He was elected to his second term as chief this year and also served as the Cadet Corps Adviser.

Christopher leaves behind his wife and three children.

There will be two upcoming fundraisers for Chief Natoli. The FDNY will sponsor one that will take place at Jackie Reilly's Bar and Grill in Bethpage on October 6 from 7 p.m. to 11 p.m. The donation is $25. The Wantagh-Levittown Volunteer Ambulance Corps has a fundraiser scheduled for October 21 at the . Tickets cost $30 and details are on the flyer attached to this article.

$20 million of the $40 million will be spent on adding a pocket track, presumably east ofRead More Massapequa. Currently, trains are reversed east of the Wantagh interlocking, and while the engineer walks through the train, it blocks the track. This addition of a "pocket track" will probably also help Wantagh commuters some times, just as an emergency pull-over space on the LIE helps.
