Vehicle Related Larcenies
On Dec. 24, someone broke into a vehicle parked outside the Lighthouse Diner in Wantagh, police said. The thief took cash between 4 p.m. and 6:30 p.m.
Petty Larceny
On Dec. 27, a thief stole a cell phone at the Subway Restaurant on Bellport Avenue in Wantagh, cops said.
On Dec. 28, A theft was reported at Cleary's Bar on Sunrise Highway in Wantagh, police said. The thief stole a wristlet between 11 p.m. the previous night and 1 a.m.
Criminal Mischief
On Dec. 26, somebody smashed the moon roof of a vehicle parked on Spruce Street in Seaford, police said. The incident took place between 1 a.m. and 1:30 p.m.
