Wantagh-Seaford Crime Report:Thefts from Vehicles

Nov. 19 to Nov. 27.

The following information was supplied by the Nassau County Police Department. A criminal charge is only an accusation, and does not indicate convictions.

Larceny from Veheicles

On Nov. 21, a tablet, briefcase, cell phone and papers were stolen from a vehicle parked outside World Gym at 3728 Park Avenue in Wantagh, police said. The thief broke a window.

Also on Nov. 21, another car  parked outside World Gym in Wantagh was broken into. A gym bag, weight belt, wallet, money and credit card were taken, police said. Both thefts took place at 5:05 p.m.

On Nov. 21, an iPod was reported stolen from a vehicle parked parked on Marlow Court in Seaford, police said. The theft occurred between 9:30 p.m. the night before and 7:30 a.m.

Petty Larceny

On Nov. 19 a Wantagh woman was arrested at JC Penney at the Sunrise Mall in Massapequa and charged with Petty Larceny.
