A Seaford man was arrested after cops found weapons in his vehicle and home Wednesday, detectives said.
According to police, Jonathan G. Erler, 29, was driving his 2004 Subaru northbound on Seaman's Neck Road when he was stopped by officers of the Asset Forfeiture Criminal Investigative Rapid Response Team (CIRRT) for a vehicle and traffic violation. A Flint Lock Rifle was spotted in the rear seat, and marijuana was discovered in the vehicle as well.

Erler was placed under arrest without incident at 4:30 p.m. Wednesday, cops said. During an investigation, Erler's home was searched by police, and they allegedly found six assault weapons, five high-capacity ammunition feeding clips, several Chinese throwing stars, two bullet proof vests, an undetermined amount of marijuana and concentrated cannabis, along with unknown amount of money.
Erler is charged with third-degree criminal possession of marijuana, fourth-degree criminal possession of a controlled substance, second-degree criminal possession of a weapon and six counts of third-degree criminal possession of a weapon.
