Proposed Seaford Library Budget Heads to Voters

Voting on library's proposed $2.1 million spending plan scheduled this Wednesday from 1-9 p.m.

The Seaford Public Library’s proposed budget for the 2013/14 fiscal year will head to voters this Wednesday.

The library’s $2.1 million spending plan is a slight increase of $93,501 over the current budget. Library officials said if approved, the average Seaford homeowner would see an increase of $2.02 in their taxes.

Voting on the 2013/14 budget is scheduled Wednesday from 1-9 p.m. at the Seaford Public Library on 2234 Jackson Ave.
