Assemblyman Dave McDonough, R-Merrick, gives state citation to members of Wantagh High School Junior Chamber of Commerce for their support of his 10th Annual Coats for Kids Campaign.

Wantagh High School’s Junior Chamber of Commerce was recently honored for its participation in an annual holiday coat drive.

Assemblyman Dave McDonough, R-Merrick, met with members of the Wantagh High School Junior Chamber of Commerce to present the students and program advisor, Jamie Stanulis, with a New York State Citation honoring their participation in his 10th Annual Coats for Kids Campaign.

“The dedication of the students at Wantagh High School has been exceptional during this time of need,” said Assemblyman McDonough, who is a past president of both the Merrick Chamber of Commerce and the Nassau County Council of Chambers of Commerce. “I want to thank everyone who has donated for their generosity and I encourage all New Yorkers to make the most of this holiday season by spending time with family and friends and helping those still in need following Hurricane Sandy.”
