Wantagh Youth Football Player Honored by State Lawmakers

Jimmy Errante awarded the Wantagh Football Club's Senator Fuschillo Award

A youth football player from Wantagh was recently honored at an awards luncheon by two local state lawmakers for his success on and off the field. 

Thirteen year old Jimmy Errante was awarded the Wantagh Football Club’s Senator Fuschillo Award, which is given to a football player who has been in the program from his first day of eligibility and who serves as a role model and leader for his fellow athletes both on and off the field. Errante was recognized with the award at the Wantagh Football Club's annual awards luncheon by State Sen. Charles Fuschillo, R-Merrick, and Assemblyman David McDonough, R-North Merrick.
