Five Wantagh Students Named to All-State Winter Conference
Students to participate in All-state ensembles.
Five Wantagh High School students will end the year on a happy note as they participate in the New York State School Music Association's winter conference.
Andrew Bloniarz, Julianna Nerone and Matthew Saltzman have been selected to all-state ensembles at the conference, which will be held in Rochester from Dec. 5-8.
Andrew, a cellist, will participate in the string orchestra. Julianna, a violinist, will take part in the symphony orchestra, while Matthew, who plays the trumpet, will be in the wind ensemble.
Two other students, Patrick Constant and Mark Sales were named as alternates. Patrick is a tenor and Mark is a tenor saxophonist.
