Four Sisters Leading Cheers in Seaford

Triplets and older sister make up four members of 2-person squad.

The Meyer family could make up a cheerleading squad by themselves.

Instead, four sisters who attend Seaford High school make up one sixth of the school's 24-member Varsity cheer team, according to Newsday (paid site.)

It helps that three of Carolyn and Tim Meyer's daughters are 16-year-old triplets Cassidy, Jillian and Alexa, who are joined on the squad by their 17-year-old sister Mackenzie.

"It's one of the coolest things we could have imagined," Jillian told the paper. "We've always been cheerleaders, but the four of us being on a team is kind of surreal."

Mackenzie also serves as a squad captain and her mother joked that when she asks about her-mini-squad, she says, "We say, 'We're not just a family, we're a team.' "
