Seaford High School held its 37th annual Homecoming celebration Saturday afternoon into the evening.
The festivities got undereway at 3 p.m. with the Homecoming Parade marching from the Seaford Public Library to Seaford High School. The theme for this year's homecoming was “Score One for Seaford” members of the Save Seaford Sports Committee selected as grand marshalls in honor of their tireless fundraising efforts to restore middle school sports cut from the budget during the past year.
The homecoming event was capped by the Seaford football team improving to 6-0 with a 31-7 win against Cold Spring Harbor. Seaford running back Nick Fischetti and Toni Ann Medaglia were crowned Homecoming king and queen, respectively. The senior class won first place for best float.
