The Seaford Relay for Life, scheduled for June 16 at the track, is being headed up by the Seaford Manor School PTA. At Wednesday’s meeting, Katie Goepfrich, public relations coordinator for the Seaford Relay for Life, explained the process of creating teams for Relay for Life Night. The teams, which can consist of an unlimited number of friends and family members, all come together to fundraise for the June 16 event and set up their own “campsite.” At the campsite, teams can hold bake sales to benefit the relay or another activity if they so choose.

Relay for Life officials asks that one person from each team be going around the track at all times. This symbolizes the constant struggle for those with cancer and completes the Relay for Life.
