Longtime Principal Michael Ragon will be retiring at the end of the school year.

Seaford Superintendent of Schools Brian Conboy announced Ragon's retirement at Thursday night's Board of Education meeting that was ironically held at Seaford High School. Ragon has been Seaford High School's principal for the past 11 years after previously serving as math coordinator in the Lindenhurst School District. He is also spent 21 years with the New York City Public schools as a teacher and assistant principal.

"It's been a great ride," Ragon said. "I will miss the kids."
