Seaford High School Tour Choir Performs in San Francisco

The Tour Choir, an advanced musical group under the direction of Choral Director Yvonne Bendzlowicz, performed an array of multicultural songs in languages such as Swahili, French, German and Spanish,
among others, during a recent trip to San Francisco. 

The group sang at Union Square and Ghirardelli Square and then spent time exploring "The City by the Bay." The 75-member group performs throughout the year in venues such as Carnegie Hall, Cohen’s Children’s Hospital, Northport VA Hospital, the Seaford Tree Lighting Ceremony and the AIDS/Cancer 5K at . 

“Traveling together teaches our students to look out for each other and to work together as a team," Bendzlowicz said.
