Third graders at Seaford Manor Elementary School are able to work on their word power, thanks to a donation by a local foundation.
Students received dictionaries from the Verizon Pioneers, a volunteer association which promotes literacy.
The dictionary also contained the biographies of US presidents, weights and measures, the American Flag, the Constitution and the Declaration of Independence.
Volunteers were on hand at the school to distribute the books.
