St. William the Abbot School Drama Club Performs Disney's High School Musical Junior

Students entertain packed audience in the Msgr. Thomas Leavey Auditorium

More than 90 students in the sixth, seventh and eighth grades participated in this year’s production at the Seaford Catholic school located on 2000 Jackson Ave.. The Broadway Junior Collections are geared to middle school students yet keep the essence of the original musical. The students entertained the packed audiences with renditions of Breaking Free, Stick to the Status Quo, and We’re All In This Together. The Drama Club also made a special musical presentation to principal Anna Guardino, wishing her the best upon her retirement from St. William's at the end of this school year.

For more information, on this program and other activities at St. William the Abbott School, go to the school's website or call 516-785-2752.

$20 million of the $40 million will be spent on adding a pocket track, presumably east ofRead More Massapequa. Currently, trains are reversed east of the Wantagh interlocking, and while the engineer walks through the train, it blocks the track. This addition of a "pocket track" will probably also help Wantagh commuters some times, just as an emergency pull-over space on the LIE helps.
