Wantagh Cancels After School Activities
Seaford Library several other programs announce cancelations.
The Wantagh School District has cancelled all after school activities, district officials said Tuesday.
All afternoon and evening activities in Wantagh including Driver's Education will be canceled.
Regular transportation will go on as scheduled, but there will be no late busses.
Wantagh's PM SCOPE program will close at 4:30 p.m. Parents are being told to make arrangements to pick up their children.
Wantagh officials said they'll make a decision later Tuesday on the status of Wednesday classes.
Meanwhile the Seaford Public Library has closed and will remain closed on Wednesday.
The Hagerdon Little Village School in Seaford announced there will be no Afternoon Pre-K classes, while Our Reedeemer Day Care announced an early dismissal at 3 p.m.
Temple B'nai Torah Religious School in Wantagh is also closed and Teacher's Pets Child Care Centers in Wantagh will have a 4 p.m. dismissal.
