Wantagh Celebrates Board Recognition Night
Seven Wantagh trustees receive certificates at Nov. 16 meeting.
It was Board Recognition Night for Wantagh at the district’s November 16 Board of Education meeting.
Members of the Vocal Jazz Ensemble, under the direction of choral teacher Jennifer Alessi, sang the Wantagh alma mater for the five school board trustees. The school board trustees each received certificates from State Assemblyman Dave McDonough,R-North Merrick, followed by a words of appreciation and praise from Interim Superintendent Dr. Richard Marsh during the meeting held in the Wantagh High School Auditorium.
The Wantagh Board of Education trustees includes William Russack (president), Bob Leuchtmann (vice president), Michael Cucci, Jean Quinn and Michael Soethout.
