Wantagh MS Hosts Women’s Power Breakfast

Annual event held to commemorate Women's History Month.

To commemorate Women’s History Month, 35 eighth-grade girls at were invited to participate in what has become an annual event: The Wantagh Middle School Women’s Power Breakfast.

The female middle school students were afforded the opportunity to listen to a panel of accomplished women who serve as leaders in their field and as inspirational role models for the girls. Each of the girls was encouraged to always follow her heart, do her very best at school and pursue her goals.

The event is coordinated annually by Pat Calosso, Supervisor of Languages Other Than English (LOTE), English as a Second Language (ESL), and Business Education and is made possible by the support of members of the Wantagh Business Advisory Board and the Wantagh administrative team.
