The Wantagh School District recently hosted a Nassau Association of School Technologists (NASTECH) forum on the use and integration of iPads in the classroom.
The event featured technology directors and administrators from across Nassau County. With Wantagh district officials showcasing their recent efforts regarding the use of technology in the classroom. Of special discussion were the use of iPods in the middle school foreign language classroom, the elementary iPad initiative, and the district’s approach to utilizing the Microsoft Suite administrative tools to cut down on costs and increase efficiency.
This past November, the Wantagh School District to a full class of fifth graders at Wantagh Elementary School thanks to a grant.
