Two Wantagh High School Students have been honored for artistic excellence.
Denise Cotter and Jessica Imbro received recognition by the Long Island Arts Alliance, a not-for-profit network of area arts and cultural institutions.
Jessica received an Award of Merit in media arts for photography, and Denise received an Award of Merit in visual arts.
They were presented with the awards at a gala held at Half Hollow Hills High School.
