Wantagh Teens from MacArthur HS Named All-State Musicians

Danielle Tribley and Keira Sleter were among thousands to audition for prestigious honor.

The Levittown School District announced last week that MacArthur High School student-musicians Keira Slater and Danielle Tribley, both Wantagh residents, have been selected by the New York State School Music Association to participate in All-State ensembles at the organization’s annual Winter Conference scheduled for Nov. 29 - Dec. 2 in Rochester, N.Y.

Thousands of student-musicians auditioned for this honor last spring at solo and ensemble festivals throughout the state.

Slater (Alto I) and Tribley (Soprano II) will sing for the Women’s Chorus. Both students are recurring performers in MacArthur High School musical, choral and theater productions.
