Former Seaford Football Player Earns Conference Honors at SUNY Maritime
Linebacker Pat Lasher named Eastern Collegiate Football Conference First Team Defense in 2010.
SUNY Maritime sophomore linebacker Pat Lasher, a graduate, was named to the Eastern Collegiate Football Conference (ECFC) First Team Defense for the 2010 season.
The 6'2", 200-pound Lasher was second on SUNY Maritime in tackles with 84 in 2010 while leading the Privateers to an ECFC title. The Privateers were a perfect 10-0 in the regular season before falling in the opening round of the NCAA Division III Tournament at Alfred University.
Lasher was an All-County player at Seaford High School in 2008 and played in the Outback All Star Bowl game. He is majoring in Mechanical Engineering at SUNY Maritime in nearby Throgs Neck, N.Y. and plans to pursue a USCG Engine License.
