PHOTOS: Annual Wantagh HS Alumni Lacrosse Games Held Saturday

Former Warriors take field to raise funds for graduating senior players.

The Alumni 15th Annual Lacrosse Games were held this past Saturday to raise scholarship funds for graduating Warriors who will play collegiately next year.

Former Warrior boys lacrosse player Bill Thompson and retired Wantagh High School teacher Fred Holle refereed the women’s and men’s alumni games, respectively. The games featured many recent alumni as well as 1974 Wantagh graduate Ron Parisi, who was an All-American with the Warriors.

Following the two alumni games on Wantagh High School’s synthetic surface field, a postgame party was held at . The event was organized by the Wantagh Alumni Lacrosse Association, a non-profit organization dedicated to supporting the Wantagh lacrosse community and Wantagh High School lacrosse graduates.
