The Seaford High School football team advanced to the Nassau County Championship game with a victory against West Hempstead last Thursday 10-0.
Now, the Vikings will take on Roosevelt Thursday at 7 p.m. for the Conference IV Championship at Hofstra's Shuart Stadium.
Patrick Bizzarro rushed for 86 yards and had the game's only touchdown in what was a defensive battle against West Hempstead. In fact, until the fourth quarter, a Matt Murphy field goal had the Vikings clinging to a 3-0 lead.
Bizzaro's 7-yard scamper put the game on ice.
