The girls basketball team (7-2) was victorious at New Hyde Park (6-4) Tuesday evening in a key early season Conference A-1 matchup.

With the win over the Lady Gladiators, Wantagh improves to 4-0 in Conference A-1, a game ahead of Garden City and Division for first place in the standings. Wantagh is next in action tonight at Division starting at 6:30 p.m.
