Garden City kept their head in the game as much as they could while playing with a young team made up of sophomores and juniors. The Trojans were ahead of Wantagh in the third set at one point and in the first set played Wantagh relatively even. However playing against Wantagh a team cannot afford to make small mental errors and Garden City enabling the Warriors to turn on the heat and capitalize with some key points.

"We try to win every point on the court, Wantagh just wore us down a little bit." said Opinante.
